I'm Vernon Hoover and I am a candidate for Mayor for Mercedes. My independent race for the elected office is a calling from God. The City of Mercedes is at a crossroads and is in need for a leader that will work to make Mercedes into an All- American city.

Join me as I will work for the common good of the community and its citizens. I have been a resident of Mercedes for the last ten years. I have traveled doing Christian Missionary work and while I lived in Grandbury, Texas I was an assistant pastor at a local church. Today I am a member of Lighthouse Church and do minister services.

I attend every city council meeting and am aware of the issues that are important to the City of Mercedes.
